The word ​“doc­tor” means teacher. The very essence of being a fam­i­ly physi­cian is to teach a patient about health and well­ness. It’s a 50/50 part­ner­ship, and I love help­ing patients under­stand their med­ical issues so they can make the best health­care deci­sions for themselves.
